The Sweetie Machine

The Sweetie Machine” is a site-specific installation in public space which examines the behavior of man in it’s natural environment. It responds to our subconscious and conscious social structures, by adding an element of seduction to the public domain, such as candy, coins or paper money. Would you resist the temptation? Between what you think, what you would do and what you actually do, there can be a big difference.

The work consists of "The Sweetie Machine”, videoreports and documented research. In the research by the artist social structures and anonymity are exposed in experimental ways, by focussing on everyday life, media reality, social hacking and privacy.
